Hi! I was one of the first "not completely deaf" patients (but had profound deafness) to get a Cochlear Implant in the 1990's, at a time when the law originally required CI recipients to be completely deaf. AMA!

I’m a clinical psychologist who used to work in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for patients who are not guilty by reason of insanity. Now I do psych evaluations for national security clearance and pre-employment psych screens for military contractors (think blackwater). AMA
